Animation

I just found some of the small animation exercises we did with our former teacher Erik Schmidt.
Really awesome guy.
unfortunately I am far from the best animator, but I still have a few shots to showcase.

(*hint hint* you can right click on the videos to turn on looping if you want)

First off is a walkcycle, somehow vimeo just doesn't want to take the full animation.
if anyone know a fix for this please let me know >.< ..




Next is a soccer kick, it worked out quite well even though it is still at the blocking when I had to deliver it. I just put on auto tangent here to show it off better.




Next is an animation I really like, I think it turned out great.
Even though I still have some problems with vimeo cutting a few frames in the end. strange stuff!

And my first go with acting in animation.
I don't think it turned out that good after all, especially since I didn't get done with just the basic facial animation. and yea, judge for yourself.




Gotta admit, after going through all the animation classes.
I'm properly not gonna go for the animator way, I still do like modeling a lot more and I'm gonna focus a lot on that from here on.
You are properly gonna see more than just a few sculpts and 3d models if you follow along.
Anyways hope you enjoyed watching my newbie animations :) ..

Hey guys.
We had a short compositing course a while back, where we played around with eyeon fusion.
Really awesome program, which we also used for kadavermarch and will properly use for our next semester film.
the next semester film is gonna be a blast, can't wait!
But more on that later.

Yesterday I picked up on a fun little comp I did with 2 guys from my class.
We had been out filming at a place with a greenscreen so we could learn how to key out the background and place the masked video into some other footage or picture.

Unfortunately we didn't complete it in time, so it had some troubles.
Luckily though I found some time and finished it.
And I want to share it here, cause it is really hilarious.

Kadavermarch

Hey everyone.

Just want to throw some news out there.

I am currently working a project in my school with almost the whole class working together.
We are making a trailer for a fictional  movie called kadavermarch (zombie march).

The original book is a danish teenage horror book by dennis jürgensen.

We should really have been working for some directors  at the national filmschool of Denmark, but most of my class found the pitches they showed us either too bad/weird or lacking fun work to do.

So instead a guy from my class came up with the idea for this project.

We have 6 weeks to do it all from concept to finished product.

With just 2 weeks left we are working as hard as we can to get this done in time for the deadline.

tommorow (friday), we are starting the first renders so we hopefully can start compositing when we meet monday.

My first job on this production has been modelling and texturing of one of the 2 main characters.

He is called Sid and he is a real badass,  just killin' them zombies all the time. He even carry a milecounter around to count the numbers of zombies he has slayed.

secondly I've done some prop modelling and set dressing, which I am working on now.

My 2 biggest props is a bus that crashed into a building in the beginning of the trailer and a generic car for some background stuff in the same scene as the bus.

I am looking forward to start putting it all together the next 2 weeks.

Keep an eye out I will show some of the stuff I have done in the next few weeks.

My first showreel

Hey just making a another post quick.

I made this showreel. primarily for the practice in doing showreels though.
There was a few more things  I would have wanted in it but didn't have the time to render it out.
we did this along with the last week of our short movie therefore time wasn't that abbundant.

I would actully really like any criticism I can get on this one.

2nd Semester Short Movie

Hey you guys.

I just wanted to show you the short movie my group did at my school.

We were 5 people in the group and worked for a few months.
It has been a great learning experience, and definately well worth it.

I think we ended okay, not as great as we could though, but okay.

Hey guys.

Been quiet here for some time now, been busy with alot of really uncreative stuff to be honest.
Good news now though, started on 1st semester of Truemaxs 3D digital artist education (3 year bachelor).

Really loving the place .

Our teacher for the first and problaly also second semester is lars krogh mortensen from kma (danish movie and advertising company).

well I started there 30. august . So of course that's a little while back.

therefore I have the pleasure of showing a picture I worked on the first 3-4 weeks .

Not much to say really, think it speaks for itself.

Right now we're working on our first character, we only had 3 days for concept art and modelling, so obviously it had to be quite simple.
but more on that in next  post which won't be long time from now .
