Human figures

I will try and focus more on the human figure and anatomy(But I will still much quite stylished though) for some time now.
I still got a whole lot to learn, but I actually think I'm doing quite good in my recent drawings.

You know, I actually haven't been drawing for a whole lot of my time.
But since my 3ds max license ran out( a few weeks ago), I just can't let go of the pencil and draw a bit everyday.
So I am pretty happy with how far I am at this point.
But I will keep moving slowly but steady towards being better with pencil and paper.

I have some of the sketches I made the last 2 evenings (I don't know why I grab a blog of paper and start drawing, everytime time I go to bed?)

I always welcome any constructive critisism, as I believe that it will only help me grow, So go on me if you want ;).

Night time drawing

Last Night, just before I went to bed, I did a few drawings, nothing much just a few small ones.

Unfortunately my scanner doesn't catch all the very light strokes so it looks like some parts are missing (like the "bug"'s right arm)

Niels and I

Me and and a friend of mine, Niels hang out yesterday.
And we had quite alot of fun, We started with just talking abit, playing some left4dead 2 that kinda stuff.

Later we drew some drawings where we changed drawing every 2-3 mins (so I got his and vice versa), we ended up with some pretty fun/messy/WTFDUDE images, you can see em here.

 

 

(well a few is made solely by one of us)

The fun thing about is our drawingstyle is really so far from each other, where is he is mostly doing small toony stuff, I like it a bit more rough.

Later just before he left, we decided to go to my backyard and make a pair of boobs, so I can use half of my day starring at them from my window, so great.

Fundemental course final

Hey

Last monday I started my fundemental course final, and Just this friday started the production.
I've been working on the idea, concept art, storyboard etc.

I'm going for a mtv commercial bumper, Hopefully it'll turn out good, I'm a bit worried since I am already behind my schedule.
But I just wanted to show the concept for the character (Which is actually already modelled, but I will show that one later) and the environment where it will be happening.

Concept for the character

As you can see, there is different concepts on this picture, but I'm using a mixture of the 1st and the 2nd body. the picture is made for the documentation where I also show the progress through the project. (I have to write a so damn much about everything I do here, and even give em all my source files).

Next is the environment

I never tried doing a concept like this before, so I had alot of fun with trial and error, even though it is far from awesome, I am still very satisfied with it, and learned alot from it.

You can actually see I started from the right, and then gradually got an idea of how it worked, I find it quite funny ;).

So last but not least, I will show you my storyboard, even though I'm problaly the only one who can read it, ha ;).

I don't think I wanna explain it further, I hope you can see it for yourself.

But thats it for me, hopefully I won't wait that long till next post.
